Sounds like from the case being cited that this woman’s actions seem to he ego driven, it’s amazing how often our egos get in our own way.
Every government apparatus will eventually be used by corrupt people.
Which is why tons of oversight and whistleblower protections are important to have.
In this case requiring multiple technicians to independently check the samples would be good.
Or people given power will find something they think is wrong enough to go think vigilantism is a good.
And in reality it is a corrupter of people.
