Ever since Omega, and even before, I’ve scavenged for as many AG racers I can find, to get my fix.
The best withdrawal managers for me have been Redout 1/2 and BallisticNG. As a bonus they work on PC and the steamdeck.
I really, really, really hope we get to see another mainline WipEout game someday, even though I don’t know how it could possibly happen with Psygnosis/Studio Liverpool axed by sony.
That’s really sad, Wipeout is my favorite Sony game series. I don’t really believe they’ll release a new one, the license doesn’t seems popular enough, but I hope I’m wrong. I hope they’ll release the Omega collection on PC at least. But yeah, at least there’s BallisticNG, and I didn’t play Redout, but I should try. I’m playing Wipeout Pure and Pulse on emulators too, they were my favorite PSP games.
