What’s the best way to build up aUEC in 3.19? I’ve played this game a bit, touch and go for a year or so. Is bounty hunting still the way to go? Bunker missions? Mining? Something else?
I’ve mainly been doing bounties and bunker missions with some friends to pay for my ship upgrades for the third time, but only spent a couple hours so I’m not too invested in any one path
Best is whatever is fun for you, don’t burn yourself out.
That being said, you make a lot from gaining reputation from mission givers, and it’s also lucrative to take on the PvP Ghost Hollow missions if you can hold it down for a bit.
Thanks! Great point on burnout. I only play for an hour or so, and when SC actually works, it’s a ton of fun regardless of what mission type I’ve tried. When it doesn’t work…well we all know that pain.
Generally I’ve enjoyed bunkers and bounties. We did some mining a few patches ago with a Mole that was a blast, but still a ways off from having the capital to do that again. I’ll check out Ghost Hollow
I guess if you are out for steady money per minute, nothing can beat Bunker runs. 5~10 minutes for 65k+ cr.
I don’t care about that money per minute and love doing the industrial side of life: Prospector Mining and Vulture Salvage.
I’m having a lot of fun with the Combat Assist beacons when they are spawning and bunkers when they aren’t. Good mix of flying around a planets moons helping protect sites or saving people getting ambushed in space. When Combat assists are spawning, you can grab Mediums for around 30K and Highs anywhere from 40-250K, fighting a mix of Hammerheads, Valkyries, Reclaimers and Andromedas.
And then while waiting for one of those Beacons to spawn, you can fly down and do some bunkers or bounty hunting to fill the time.
But the most fun for me has actually been Mole Mining or Recalimer Salvaging with Friends.
Cool! I only have a Titan, one of my friends has a Cutty Black. Are either of those enough to handle the higher missions? I used to be pretty decent at combat, my friend with the Black is not so great.
Mole mining with friends was fun when I tried it, but we’re a ways off from having the capital to do that again
