The Hurricanes have traded for the Capitals' Evgeny Kuznetsov after the longtime Washington center had been placed on waivers and assigned to the team's AHL affiliate.

This one doesn’t feel great tbh.

    How can the Canes afford all of this? I know the Caps are retaining half but still…

      I don’t know their situation well enough, but I do know that I’ve got a major bout of The Sads over this. It felt like it’s been due for a while, but Kuzy was for so long, such a vital part of this team that it’s going to be a bit weird not having him around.
