Having a child taught me so much on how to deal with bad grown-ups
I did a bunch of courses through work on working with others (and leading through influence, etc), as well as having read books like Never Split the Difference, How to Make Friends and Influence People, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, etc.
Then when I had kids I read a bunch of parenting books and the advice is pretty much the same! So much so that often they cross over, I think it was the 7 Habits book where they use examples of working with their kid to explain all the stuff about working with others.
Turns out kids are just little adults, and adults are just big kids.
What is terrible twos? Never heard this expression.
The terrible twos is a normal stage of development in which toddlers can have mood swings, temper tantrums, and frequent fights with siblings or playmates.

Terrible threes is arguably worse. They’re really getting a sense of self by then, and turn into conniving, cheating, manipulative liars.
We call it “threenager”
And these days, we call it “fourible”
I’ve been wondering why I’m not a fucking genius.
The dude who first thought to put lead in gasoline is genuinely responsiblw for so much harm. I hate him passionately.
How much easier would my differential equations course be if he never did that? /s
