    Pretty much. At the same time, any team signing him would have a low cost, super-high upside player. Sure, the back issues, surgery recovery and nerve impingement have been grueling, but as he proved this season, when he’s actually on the court, he produces at the triple-double level at 36min/per.

    Not many people remember this, but Brook Lopez went through years of foot injuries and surgeries before becoming durable as a rock in his later career. Not the same situation, but if Simmons’ back does one day recover, he could still make a big impact.

    Not too likely methinks, but at least a possibility.

      Yeah I could see a team offering him a decent contract since like you said the upside is there, but it’s going to have most of the $ tied to games played incentives I’m sure.

      Yeah brook literally has been a DPOY candidate post back surgery but he’s the exception to the rule I feel like. Simmons should definitely look into Brooks doctor.
