    Honestly this looks amazing. I’ll probably attempt this when I have some time off, feel like if you just take your time it is quite doable.

    Looks like I’ll be spending more money on my Deck, but I’m waiting for the DeckHD screen to be released to do this whole thing at one time.

    I want to install a transparent cover eventually. The process sounds tedious but not too bad. Glad to have video guides. I’ll probably go with the ExtremeRate version as I’m not a fan of JSAUX putting random holes and stuff on the back.

    I’m crossing my fingers for a high quality gum green steam deck case. I don’t really care about the plate on the back for heat dispersal. I just want the nice color

    I’m now completely convinced I would never be able to pull this off… You’re literally disassembling the entire thing and hoping it all goes back together correctly.

    I had to completely take apart my old Dell Latitude to replace a busted keyboard assembly, and even with all the space inside there it was a living nightmare and I had to go back in twice to get it just right.
