Imran Khan was deposed on behalf of the United States government for straying too far from US foreign policy requirements. The US would prefer Pakistan stay unstable and unable to assert its sovereignty. I hope the Pakistani people are able to reassert their control over their system, but I fear there will be much bloodshed no matter what happens.
