There are some very noticeable interface changes. Looks much cleaner imo.
I’m a simple man, I see new Steam interface improvements I upvote
This is a more detailed presentation (less technical) of the update with a lot of screenshots.

I agree with the OP, the whole UI facelift looks much cleaner. I also like the notifications, actually helped me realize something on my wishlist was on sale. I usually find that out from an email Valve sends out 😆
Hopefully all these changes don’t come at the expense of computer resources though!
It was… Transparent for me on Linux
what do you mean by that? I’m also on Linux but I’ve been to into tears of the kingdom to try the new steam lol
Saying it’s literally transparent for me
i’m on Kubuntu 22.04 and it’s normal for me, got the new UI update, it’s not transparent
Why does it look so blurry?
Opening the Library is slower and the interface feels less responsive - sometimes even laggy.
Maximizing doesn’t work as usual. The top right icon doesn’t change. The window border is still visible and the bottom right zoom corner is still there.
I hate it - as always.
Are you on Windows? I noticed that ui feels faster and more fluid. and there are quite a few nice qol improvements.
Sorry that you are having issues, maybe you can check if Steam offers a legacy version or some kind of roll back until they address your issues?
Anyone knows what is “Steam Turn notification”?
