    Hi there! Indeed, Haiku runs super well!

    If you have any older PC or laptop, you could try it on bare metal. Many years ago I actually ran Haiku as the only OS on my laptop, just after they added wireless support, and it was support only for open networks! No WPA stuff yet.

    Haiku has come a long way.

      I have tried on a Dell Latitude 7390, it gets past the load-up icons screen at the start but then goes to a panic. Right now that machine is running a Linux and also has Haiku in a VM, has FreeDOS in dosbox, and has an apple II e emulator. Emulation and VMs to visit the past.

        Hah, cool. And yep, for some unknown reason Haiku sometimes just panic, I think it’d be worth it if you reported that and the configuration of the laptop on one of their communities/communication ways, forum, issue tracker or Matrix/IRC channels.

        And, since you like older OSes. Have you heard about infinity Mac?
