This. This right here, is the key reason why Reddit is dead or will die a slow painful death. It’s a cancer deep inside that Redditors are either in denial about, or just ignorant of.
But burying your head in the sand to this fundamental truth will ultimately not cure Reddit, it is at minimum doomed to mediocrity, and possibly irrelevance.
