Hey c/snes, let’s try to get this community kickstarted a bit!

Here’s a shot of my current SNES/SFC collection:

I usually play on my Analogue Super Nt (or Pocket if I’m on the go or want to play in bed).

What about you? Any favourites in your collection?

I actually have my snes collection from when I was a kid. All boxed with manuals, sitting on a shelf now. I still got my old snes as well. Though nowadays when I play snes I usually just emulate on whatever device (usually 3ds).

That’s great! I only started collecting pretty recently, I started gaming after the SNES’s generation and never really got a chance to play it growing up.
I guess that collection must have a lot of sentimental value as well now?

Yes and no. There’s some games in my collection that are super sentimental. Stuff like the old mario games, legend of the mystical ninja, donkey kong, super buster bros, etc. then stuff that I just don’t care about at all lol like star wars or alien 3. a lot of my snes collection (and genesis) were given to me by my grandparents when I was young so a lot of selection isn’t quite my gaming tastes lol. I kept all my games growing up though so I have similar sentimental stuff across all the nintendo consoles.

I still have my old SNES, but it doesn’t work and I can’t figure out why. The boards look pristine. I’m hoping to fix it some day; I’ve had it since i was 4 (that might be why it doesn’t work).

    Very nice looking collection!

Chrono Trigger in English is one I’ve never been able to lay hands on. I’ve mostly stopped collecting though, since I usually play on an Everdrive. In total I have about 50 SNES games and about 20 SFC games I’ve imported. I play on my original SNES from my childhood on an Ikegami 20-inch RGB PVM.

My favorites are my childhood copies of Final Fantasy II, the game that got me into RPGs, and my childhood copy of Super Mario RPG.

Edit: Time to find out how to upload images here! Here are my games:
