People who play dota probably spend so much time playing/watching that they’re oblivious to the Reddit API stuff. They see the subreddit down, shrug, and go play another game.

I think we can start by creating esports thread daily. Is it possible to automate it in here like on reddit?

I think it is the snowball effect, most people are lurker (including me). So most of us just see subreddit down, some tried to open lemmy and see empty thread just shrugged and continue watching dreamleague lol.Some other probably will take refuge on discord?

Also lemmy trending is kinda sucks, it just full of anti reddit circlejerk, very uninteresting
