To me it really seems the FSP has an actual shot of eventually kicking the feds out of NH and becoming their own country. They are working to break the US governmyths hold on them both from within the political system with elected reps and bashing at it from the outside by encouraging the use of real scarce money such as gold and crypto

I don’t think the end goal of the FSP is independence, could be wrong but my understanding was that it’s to create a libertarian state. Independence from the federal government seems unlikely.

But how could you possibly be a libertarian state while being under the boot of the feds? The way i see it those two things cannot exist together if taxation is theft, war violates the NAP, “crimes” with no victim cause bearcats to be driven into peoples homes, etc.

It wouldn’t be a perfect libertarian society but it would still be a stronghold for libertarian ideas and values within the US. There is no way to gain independence from the union without violating the NAP. Secession would always result in war.

Maybe, i doubt a war would be very popular with the other 49 states though. And as far as i can tell the US declaring war would not be a NAP violation on NH’s part due to self defense

I still think that it would be NH starting the war by declaring independence, but that might be up for debate if it violates the NAP. Either way the FSP doesn’t advocate for secession, it’s about taking over the state by electing people who align with libertarian values.

I think the used to push for full independence and have since walked back that stance a bit. NH declaring independence is not a NAP violation best i can tell because they would not use aggression against the US unless the US aggressed upon them first.
