The railroad workers didn’t need the “help” of Democrats anymore than the UAW did. They were preparing to strike and would have gotten their demands.

The rail workers contract expires at the end of this year. The next president will be faced with the same choice. If Biden believes Trump to be the biggest threat we face then promising to veto any attempts to force a contract on the workers is a bargain.
