Looking to upgrade my family member’s old redmi note 7 with a Samsung A25 but am concern for the OLED causing eyestrain and other issues with PWM. Is PWM a real problem for some or should I perhaps play it safe and get a LCD phone like a Samsung A05s or Redmi note 13 with 1920Hz PWM dimming?

    Never had issues with PWM.

I feel there might be people who can be affected by it, but it tends to be the people who put there phone brightness on minimum.

With auto brightness on indoors, the Redmi note 7 tends to be around 10% brightness. Feels like a pain forcing the screen brighter than comfortable to avoid PWM strain.

No, especially with the “Extra Dim” option on Pixels it’s not a problem

I do not notice it. Maybe, because it’s very high( ~2000hz) or I just don’t ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
