~$130 but it can vary a bit. During summer its pretty stable between $128 and like $133. During winter it drops to ~$90 except for a bad month where it can go to $150
Huh cool. Why does your electricity drop to 90 in winter?
Mainly because i live in a very warm climate and winter high temps for us are like 65F
Shmeteling
With the “Strompreisbremse” we pay 95€ per month for approx. 1500 kwh per year -> 125 kwh per month.
Do you expect to get a significant amount of money back at the end of the year? Are you locked into a long contract?
We are locked in a contract. We are currently waiting for our yearly bill (the billing year is from 1st of may). We will decide based on the new price, if we switch the provider. To be fair, we only paid 23 ct/kwh until january 2023. One could argue, that we are currently paying back the additional costs of last year.
Edit: Clarification of the billing year.
Maybe late, but about 120eur for 3000kwh per year. Moving from swm to ostrom. They have cheaper prices (85 in our case), flexible tariff and referral program. In case someone is looking for a new supplier - STANPRVTSJ, we will both get 35eur.
