Smoke/ fire also seems to be to blame for the cooler than normal temps. Yay to the sun being blocked! (also the fire creating a high pressure area).
Indeed. Yeah I know that it’s been bad up there, I guess I just didn’t realize it was to the extent that entire outdoor events in NY were being cancelled due to it. As someone who burns in the sun almost instantly, I appreciate the sun being blocked a bit though.
Especially since we will never figure out the combination to their forcefield.
Have a friend in upper NY that says they have been canceling all the outdoor activities, schools, play, camps, and so on, due to the smoke.

Yea, tbf they are getting the brunt of the smoke but it’s still plenty here.
