I play mainly Antimatter Dimensions and NGU Idle, but I was wondering if anyone else here is a fan of games that require a significant amount of patience.
Not really, something about most of the genre doesn’t quite appeal to me.
However, I once heard that Universal Paperclips not just had an actual ending, but also an overall point to it, and I decided to give it a go. It was worth it.
Same, which is weird because I generally like games where you have to wait around a lot.

Cookie clicker anyone? I play it on both android and PC. Wish Android had more features!
My game is over 10 years running. I don’t even click.
I played Egg Inc. for years. It was a nice little game. But sadly a point where progress would take at least half a year. At that point I decided: It was fun, but it is time to move on. Currently I don’t play any IDLE game.
Oh I played egg inc for years until yeah, progress slowed to a crawl and it became extremely pay-to-win.
Someone made a community for idle games here: https://lemmy.ml/c/incremental_games
I still have antimatter dimensions on my old phone. Wonder how many time shards or whatever I have after 9 months or whatever it’s been now.
I got hooked on Legends of Idleon. Love that it’s just one developer.
I usually have one on the go…

I still have Antimatter dimensions on my phone and open it every now and then. It’s been way more enjoyable than I ever expected it to be!
Before that I played My Museum for a while, it was kinda nice. I’d be curious to hear about everyone’s suggestions in this threadI put a lot of time in Leaf Blower Revolution, I find it way more compelling than any other I tried :).
Antimatter Dimensions I quite liked for a bit, NGU Idle really didn’t work for me.
Gridle is pretty cool and short (less than an hour to complete)!
Melvorian here, not as much patiente required, but still an idle game!
A Dark Room has an ending which does not require months of playing. Recommended.
Realm Grinder, until I lost my login details.
It’s on Steam, so I might well go back to it.
I like the way the focus of the game changes as the numbers go up.
Oh, I had a moment where I was really into realm grinder. I quite liked how the backround and music changes with your build; the evil path music went kinda hard.
I played Ragnarok Clicker a lot lol that was fun https://store.steampowered.com/app/493370/Ragnarok_Clicker/
