Seems like retroactively adding interest should be illegal, since many would have continued paying during forbearance had interest been accruing. Probably a moot point since Biden will assuredly veto this.

Businesses and wealthy gets millions in “loans” forgiven but nope absolutely not $20k in student loans. Somehow that’s not fair to all the other taxpayers.
