    Despite some risks that art and artifacts may be lost/damaged in the process or end up not being viewable to the general public, I still think this is a good and important thing for museums to do. There was a recent series of Freakonomics podcast episodes that dealt with this topic if anyone is interested in casually hearing more about this trend. Episodes 541-543
