    Looks like moonshot funding. The 46m is split between eight companies with the hope of a design in 5-10 years. I would love to see a real fusion plant, but there’ll be no quick about it.

      The PRC is the furthest along in its fusion power program. They have several test reactors in operation, and an industrial prototype, the CFETR, should be finished by 2035.
