Yep, keep showing your true color folks, how rude and disrespectful you are to someone who’s lived suffering and dug themselves out of it, someone who isn’t afraid to broadcast their opinion, despite their past. I was genuinely interested in u/techwield’s question “why is it exciting”, just for it to be ruined be a joke that contributes absolutely nothing to the discussion at hand. Of course I’m going to be upset at that. Interesting discussion and news is watered-down by jokes and one liners, rather than interesting discussion full of substance.
