I’m a transguy who transitioned in the 2000s and have had top surgery. I toured a gym that has a beautiful sauna, steam room, and hot tub that I’d like to join, but clothes are not permitted in any of the above. I’m worried about running into trouble if I go naked.

The gym is like a Jewish YMCA and is adamantly LGBTQ+ friendly and even has reminders in the locker room that the space welcomes everyone. I asked the girl giving the tour about my concerns and she said to just wear a towel if I’m not comfortable, but I’m still a bit uncertain.

Do any of you guys go to nude men-only areas? Any tips?

I’m sure I won’t get assaulted because I’m a tough looking guy that most folks wouldn’t fuck with, but I don’t want to invite trouble.

With pleasure, that’s the true :),

In this context, I mean that I tell you to not be scared about others but take in consideration that I don’t want to hurt you in case there is a misunderstanding and not truly legitimate to give u advices . I’m far away to live what you live I guess.

I’m not legitimate to really feel you and understand you, maybe. I have no trace of surgery on me, bc I didn’t got one to transit as woman. For now, I’m just wearing some stuff inside and outside less, like a vest, sweats, maybe socks but no “lingeries (French)” at least not at work, nailings, shaving , little make up/eye line, that the most will not notice, and removal hairs.
In fact, Things boys can do too in reality without a being a problem.

I’m happy that you see my words as encouragement. They are the really true. U did the harder from my POV.

And if I didn’t touch the real subject, the real motion here, so pls sorry don’t be offend and don’t take my hurting words in considerations (bc I’ve tried to be humoristic in my answering ^^").

This c is first for FtM after all ;-).

      That’s what I meant ^^".

Yeah I’ve said it before related to egging but it also works against accusations of faking or imposter syndrome (like this) too, the thing that defines gender identity is how the person identifies, not what they’ve done for affirmation, not what they desire, not even their reason for identifying if they even have one, just the fact they identify is what makes them that identity.

You can’t really be faking an identity, just as your actions won’t make you an egg. The gender (and gender modality) you identify as, what you do besides that has no effect. Also if you feel different about it later and identify as something else, that’s completely fine and normal, it just means you might be some level of genderfluid.
