Ah this again… BMW offers an indicator subscription… you get 10 free flashes per month, and then if you haven’t bought in, it’s pay per flash… sheesh… how is that hard to understand? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The state I currently live, Louisiana, and it seems like blinkers at all is a premium package upgrade. Hell, half the time cops don’t even use them around here. The only vehicle I can reliably see use them are out of state 18 wheelers.
Was behind a driver’s Ed car once, no kids, the instructor. No blinker used…
I currently drive a BMW and I use them. But that’s because BMW driver is a state of mind and not based on the car you own. I am a Toyota driver at heart.
Why all the hate for BMW drivers? Pickup owners should also be in this meme.

Not so many pickup drivers in the rest of the world compared to the US. Plenty of BMWs though

This works for people in the state of Florida too.
I resently switched from Toyota to Volkswagen. My signaling lowered by about 30%.
Here and there I just notice that I did it again.
Story Time:
My brother once gave me a ride home from work, back before I could drive. He had a Mercedes. Not only was he drinking beer while driving, he refused to use his indicators/blinkers
When I asked him why he didn’t signal to other drivers, he said with a smirk “They didn’t come with this model” and proceeded to finish his can of beer.
I hope he’s in prison
No he works on a billionaire’s yacht as an engineer. Maybe some day though lol

They don’t. But if they did, I doubt they’d see much use
I checked, and it seems like they use horn signaling instead

Italy doesn’t count. They have… Their own way of doing things.
Us BMW drivers do use indicators, they’re just at a wavelength that poor people can’t see.
It is kind of confusing how you press down to signal left and up to signal right
It aligns with the way you turn the wheel, so it’s not confusing at all.
Maybe for five seconds if you don’t know the concept of an indicator
That’s what I mean. If you had no idea how the level worked, looking at that, one might think it slides in and out.
