I do too.
I mean, I bought them for friends, but now we just play online which is…
Just as fun. Yes. Surely.
brooooooooo
That Wojack is brilliant.
Also, I wonder what physical shape the uncle is in? I’m betting terrible.
What shape? Alpha, obviously. Pointy up top and progressively wider as you go down.
Tatejack?
Lmao. So his logic was
my wife is too ugly to fuck
He deserves the divorce, good for her.
Everyone looks the same in the dark. Pretty people are nice to look at. Marry for things that take up more than 20 minutes(maybe) of your week. Sad they didn’t realize this.
Visual communication is incredibly important. I think I’ve had sex in the dark like… less than 1% of the time. You’re either trying to keep up a rapport to maintain their enthusiastic future availability or emotionally invested and attempting to maintain reciprocity. Unless you’re both fairly charming and willing to lower your standards, lights are worth keeping on. Sex is just as intrinsically tied to the social contract as anything else.
That said, yeah, marry for personality imo.
Honestly, why would you unironically watch content from someone who doesn’t believe in depression?
Yeah I could see a teenager falling for it, but a 40+ 💀 shows you’ve learned nothing from your brief time on the strife ball
25+ years of blaming your short comings on other people and any lucky break was totally a master move of skill on your part.
The rise and fall of this grift has been such a gift to me. It has introduced some of the goofiest characters and goofiest feuds. I have had so many delightful conversations stemming from this shit. What a time to be alive.
this grift has fallen? seems alive and kicking to me
I still hear chuds at work talk about his “wisdom”.
Really? What line of work are you in, if you don’t mind me asking.
I am in the electricity business. ⚡️⚡️
Can you assess my electricity? Here’s a sample:
⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
Needs more (or less) electrons.
Colonel Volgin?
One of my childhood friends fell for the red pill etc shuck and invariably reaped nothing but degradation. It has been frustrating, but there really is nothing like having a living example of “there but for the grace of God go I” in your life
Yeah jokes on him 40 year old polyamorous women pull like crazy
We are friends with a 53 year old widow, she is physically unremarkable, chubby, has kids in college. She has sex with multiple guys a week and details her adventures to my wife over text. These guys range from 25 to 44 yrs old. Women will always get laid more than men. If they want it, they can have it.
Yeah I’m a 29 year old woman and there’s a woman in her 50s that I’ve been making out with. It’s kinda weird that her kids are my age, but she’s hot af so… and yeah she’s chubby, but it works for her.
Women will always get laid more than men.
If we discount homosexual relationships (since the conversation focuses on heterosexuals), for a woman to have sex, there needs to be a man to have sex with her, and vice versa, so men and women should get laid equally.
Uh no. It’s not 1-1, it’s 1-to-many.
Due to Fisher’s Principle, we know that there’s roughly as many women as men. So why don’t you go and take a population of 5 men and 5 women, and show how they can be partnered up in such a way that each woman is on average connected to more men than vice versa. You’ll quickly find it impossible, and that’s because it is mathematically impossible.

Let’s go through this step by step. Each woman in your model, has slept with 3 men, men 1-3. This makes the female average 3. Men 1 - 3 have slept with all 5 women each. So 15 sex partners, divided by 5 men, makes 3 sex partners for each man on average. Average for both groups are equal. Care to try again?
This silly train of thought simply ignores that not all men (and women) are of equal value or attraction. In this example, chances are the most attractive man gets more than his statistic average, with the least attractive man getting way less or even nothing.
No idea apart from op and you. Is this true?
Yes, 30s upward seems to peak “Xilf” age for the decade below them. Women in polyamorous-spaces are very pursued and, compared to mono-spaces, the men in it are much more likely to be knowledgeable on relationship-health. There is also more emotional intelligence, and tools and systems for working through it (they virtually all work in monogamous relationships too, but because there are more moving parts people seem to care more for preventative measures than just being reactionary).
I think it’s more natural selection than choices. You can do multiple bad relationships at once, but you’re unlikely to enjoy it enough to keep trying.
I would say that’s true, but I have direct experience with this being in the community and know otherwise.
As a man briefly on the poly scene… Yes, 100%. The only reason my wife didn’t score more is due to crippling social anxiety. We both stopped after the first extramarital thing and decided we’re too autistic to ever try that again lol.
censors the f word
I’m guessing it wasn’t “fucking.”
Considering it looks like we got 2 gs on the bottom here, I think that’s perfectly fine.
That looks like 4 pixels antialiased, yet there’s so much meaning in them.

He didn’t fuck around and found out
Damn didn’t think it could get worse but this is it
Relationship natural selection
All. Hopefully all.
lol I guess this makes a good litmus paper. just ask a man what he thinks of Andrew Tate.
here’s a weird one. A woman i was seeing intermittently, strong attraction, very different lives and locations, yeah i was an “Uncle” her boy knew for years. I’m in town for a week and he’s watching Andrew Tate advice videos in the living room that one day. Horrible shit he’s saying. Ask her, why are you letting him watch that garbage and realize she wanted that behavior out of me.
Thank goodness I didn’t see the word removed. That would send me to the hospital.
Say fuck as much as you want, but I don’t see why people are mad about censoring a slur
We shouldn’t censor words. Bad habit. The only way to get rid of slurs and ‘bad words’ is to remove their power. Acting like the word for a meat product is Voldemort isn’t helping anyone. Especially as LGBT use it amongst ourselves anyway.
Glad to see lemmy would get their tipex out and censor all of the N words out of To Kill A Mockingbird. Good job guys, you ended bigotry.
a meat product ? I’m lost
Sorry, a f*ggot is a meatball made from offal. It’s a traditional UK dish and you see it on menus semi frequently in British cuisine restaurants.
Also removed is a cigarette. Both are in use.
removed is American English and homophobes in the UK preferred the term poof so they could eat their removeds for dinner.

He typed f*ggot, but it was removed buy a word filter.
Because '“the f word” 😱 even gets censored on lemmy.
There are a lot of 40+ women on dating apps.
Most of them wouldn’t be into mysogenists though
Absolutely. The older you get the less bullshit you’re willing to put up with when looking for a partner.
That’s what Farmersonly is for
well yeah. You see it in cycles from a personal POV, or in groups from a displaced. The relationship/divorce treadmill, watching your old friends go on and off the market over decades. the 30 year olds are either in committed relationships with kids or not whatsoever. the 40 year olds of either type are on the dating apps, fresh divorced and back on the market or never married wondering why the supply has gotten shy. I did notice a spike around @28 when the early achievers finished their first divorce, those ones are usually 3x married twice divorced at the end…the one i spent ten years with, she was an early divorcer, 27 when we started, 36 when she left me for a man she’s already divorced and she’s 43. I only know this because she called me out of the fucking blue, wanted to visit.
It could have been fine if he didn’t have a “change the rules because I’m losing” mentality.
