    0% is exactly what the goal should be; understanding that it’s unattainable over any length of time with current technologies is just as crucial to moving the needle

    Critical Mass, Vision Zero, HUB. I’ve been supporting every group I can during these somber times of ABC majority. Vision Zero is my favorite, though, it’s the one I see as more likely to achieve meaningful changes medium-term.

    Whenever I hear someone compliment Vancouver as a model of urbanism, it always astounds me. We are so car centric, with free parking everywhere and huge 6 lane roads cutting through many parts of the city. It goes to show how much worse the rest of the continent is. Vancouver would very mediocre in most of Europe or Asia. We can definitely aim to do better.
