I really prefer hardcopies but would rather not buy from like fucking amazon yk? Feels hypocritical to buy theory even more so to buy it from some corpo. Are there any leftist co-ops selling books online or should i try to find a small book store near me that might sell what im looking for if im lucky?

Ideally i am looking for something cheap but i have the money to pay a little extra if it means im not giving my money to the bourgeois

    I need paper i need it. I dont know why but i cannot read books unless they are made of paper, hardcovers preferred.

    I can’t read ebooks because they aren’t real, they dont exist. That knowledge is forbidden to me. Eldritch even

      I’ve definitely heard that from people and I appreciate the visceral quality of books. The smell, the feel, writing in the margins with a Dixon Ticonderoga pencil.

      I used to try reading on my phone, but I can’t read more than like 80-100 pages on it, at a certain point I just can’t bring myself to do it. Probably a similar thing. So the e-ink is 1000% better than the phone. Also small to medium sized books are fine but if I’m reading 1000+ page doorstop the kobo is great.
