Caps seek to end five-game trip on winning note on Monday in Calgary
In Calgary tonight for the fifth and final installment of this five game road trip out west, and we are now one point behind the Wings for that second wild card spot.
To make matters worse, the Flyers (3rd in the Metro) are only one point above us, and they’ve played one more game than we have. That said, we have a very tough schedule—multiple games against the Bruins, Leafs, Canes, and Wings. Granted, these are all teams we’d need to face in the playoffs anyway.

Nah, I don’t think they make it in, but they’ve certainly given themselves a chance, which is something considered where they were a few weeks ago.
