He’s clearly just chasing money, but, broken clock etc etc, he does raise very good points against Apple and Google about their app store monopolies. Though he’s by no means the first to do so, he definitely brought the issue into the public spotlight very effectively, whereas before it was mostly only discussed within the technology and FLOSS communities with very few laypeople thinking it to be a problem.
