So I’m curious how communities get synced … if you don’t mind me asking? When you subscribe to a community from a different instance, does everything from that community get synced across?

I’d imagine any replies or posts from instances that you block get cut out … but other than that, is it the case that whole communities are essentially being duplicated across many if not all lemmy instances?
