I’m sorry to hear that tbh. The series is really solid, possibly one of my favorites.
I do agree that Mappa (or whoever made the decision) completely botched the schedule, and I was tempted time and time again to just buy the manga, like many of my friends actually did.

Finishing the manga made me not want to finish the anime at all. The release schedule put the final nail in the coffin.
