SOTA was the biggest reason I got into amateur radio. Love mixing radio/tech with getting out in the fresh air.

minus-squareBenDoubleU@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·1 year agoOne of my favorite hacks! I have a 30’ collapsible and I put a fishing rod end eyelet on the end of the pole. I then attach a double sided carabiner to it and feed the end fed through it.
