Why do people like Haz? I’ve tried to listen to him but he seems to be about masculine aesthetics and leftist aesthetics, but not much regarding actual theory. He is the epitome of tailism in regards to gender, and queer people. He also opposed the Starbucks union.

He also said that homeless people are landlords, for what it’s worth

I can imagine a landlord that does not live in a house for lifestyle reasons, but they are just choosing to live like that.

Otherwise, most homeless people don’t own much so they are not landlords.

What kind of definition does this person mean by landlord? Is it that they get money without doing labor? I know some homeless people that have jobs but live in their cars.

He said theyre landlords because they “extract value from land coercitively” (paraphrasing obv) basically forcing people to give them money, and at least where I live that’s plain false

SMH, so analyzing things without acknowledging scale. The coersion of being kicked out of your home under the threat of violence by the police vs the coersion of being annoyed by a homeless person or feel guilty just being around them.

What do these people not recognize the changes in quantity creates changes in quality. The amount of force and they amount of money extracted are in totally different scales. Also people who have to beg for a living are desperate, wheras most landlords can live fine if you don’t pay them rent.
