I would also add waiting for GOTY editions with all the DLC for cheap. There are a few times where Ive liked a game but if you wait you can pick it up for 20 dollars and all the dlc
Absolutely! I also have to admit, I’ve collected so many free games over the years (on epic and steam and other platforms) that made it easy to try even when it’s a genre I hadn’t touched yet or a game I was reluctant to buy. They often came with DLCs and weren’t brand new - also a case for the patient gamer :)
