Before I started to transition I had the same, one taxi driver was like:

Surely your carcass can help around the house or is that beneath you, don’t wanna relationship with your kids or is that a woman’s job too? Looks like I support my partner better than you do yours really since I help round the house and allow her to work in her career and earn more while also working myself and contributing. She got a pay rise the other week, how much do you earn barely driving a cab and chatting shit in pubs? Oh shame my partner earns double that, do you not feel bad that you are meant to support your family but my gf earns more than you? Is that not embarrassing for you to have someone half your age and female make you look like the simple untalented bigot you are? Sorry did I use big words? It wasn’t my most well constructed or articulated argument and in hindsight i shouldnt have insulted his income but frankly i didnt care at the time. I was struggling wkth repression and coming out so the comments he made not only set me off but the sexist shit this guy said was beyond acceptable. I just wanted to upset and insult this buffoon the way he’d upset my partner with his sexist bs earlier as she was fuming!!
Anyway he left his mate to drink alone and went home because he was “too angry” lmao and his mate spent the rest of the night drinking with us and chatting about how they are old friends so they stay connected but he’s always found him difficult and bigoted so it’s rare they hang out.
Sometimes with sexist pigs the only way to get through their ego is to utterly destroy it. I don’t feel bad for it, I’ll do it again 💪 but I do try at least be civil first these days lmao.
