I bought this at an age when I didn’t understand what a remix is. I remember standing in a Virgin store, and my brother trying to explain it to me. I wanted a Linkin Park album because Crawling and Papercut were fire, but there were two albums in the store, and one had this sick robot on it.
Not getting the whole “remix” thing, I of course went for the one with the big cool robot on it. I can’t say I got what I wanted, but rather I got what I didn’t know I needed.

I remember my mate having this and it had ‘remixes’ and he didn’t like it as much.
We listened to it anyway because we were like 14 and music was a tight commodity.
I was blown away by the mix of metal and techno. I wasn’t even a metalhead back then, I didn’t know how to find it. But I had heard the call.
