I just saw this. My wife and I love this movie, and always excpected that it would stretch the truth a bit. Anyone know more about this, or have and insights to what it means (legally, morally, etc).

Why does he deserve any money? You can’t copyright facts.
Because it’s his life story… Why do random people who took advantage of him deserve money?
They don’t, either.
It being his life story doesn’t matter. It’s a true story, he can’t copyright it.
