    I hope the strike continue on, including the writers strike. It really bothers me both of them are important jobs in the entertainment industry yet the loonatic ceos are just selfish. Also I miss the tonight show with John Oliver.

      to be honest i wish industries did strikes together.

      trashmen, railworkers, nurses and these writers could all strike together and hold people by the nuts

        In the US, the Taft-Hartley Act prohibits solidarity strikes. It has its roots in anticommunism, and yes, it is evil nonsense.

        Several unions have rules against solidarity action/sympathy strikes. There may also be laws against it.

          who put these laws up? doubt the workers

          when it comes to striking fuck the law and the rules, that’s the point of a strike. the fact they create boundaries to strike along is insane and clearly undermining worker’s goals

            It’s likely major corporations working with government that create blockades for multi-union strikes tbf. History tends to be that way in many cases. Money speaks larger than ethics or words ever could overall.
