First, I’m on macOS and use qbittorrent. Thing we’re working properly until about a week ago.

None of the files will download properly. For instance if I download a movie, the data is there but not the actual video. This is the same for audiobooks, books, and games. When I go to open the file it says the application is unavailable?

I’ve tried reinstalling qbit, I’ve tried turning off my VPN, I’ve even wiped the computer and reinstalled everything. I also tried the force download thingy, and tried different torrent clients. Nothing as worked. Google has also failed me, but I may have been using the wrong keywords. I’m still newish to pirating (it’s been over a decade since I last pirated anything).

I’ve downloaded the same files onto my husbands MacBook to see if it was the file or my computer. It’s my computer. So I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and/or if anyone knows how to fix it.

Thank you.

This was my thought as well, which is why I downloaded them on my husbands computer. The same files. They work fine on his computer. It’s not the files, it’s my computer.

    ETA: I use 1337x mainly.

These are the trackers that are by definition ‘private’. More like sites that you need to have an account to access and they keep a ratio abt a member’s downloading acts. Tremendous advantages - Quick releases, many versions, ability to ask for reseeding, etc. You Ofc download via torrent files.

Torrentleech is a good place to start with.
