The state says the program, which will run from May 1 to June 30, 2023, makes it the first to provide no-cost child care to such a broad economic demographic.

    Free community college was part of Jesse Jackson’s campaign policy in 1984 and 1988. Only took 30+ years but better late than never I guess.
