I just wanted to thank dessalines for making this app. He seems to be knowledgeable about habit formation and I think this plays a big role in enabling this app to be so simple whilst still doing what it proposes very well.

It is way snappier than other apps I have tried and this is great because it brings less friction to seeing the list. Its simplicity is also great because it enables me to focus solely on my habits. Besides, it also helps me to take action, because its UI is the opposite of daunting and makes no big deal of the habit until it is actually done.

Perhaps this is a little too much, but I’m pouring my heart like this for it has actually helped me a lot.

I only miss widgets and notifications, and if they are implemented I intend to pay for the app through the Play Store purchase.

Thx! And thanks also for helping with the icons, I really appreciate it.

I mainly made it because most of the open-source habit apps seemed to be stalled out (I used loop habit tracker like most ppl, but it seems stalled), not built using the latest android tech, and especially that they didn’t implement any of the common wisdom about forming new habits, esp from books like James Clear - Atomic habits, which I read as I was making this.

I’d been wanting to make one for a while but was putting it off because I thought it’d be a lot of work. It ended up only taking a few days luckily.
