I’ve never been able to make up my mind on whether or not the character has its hands raised or just has prominent ears. Frankly I prefer to believe they are its hands and the character is quite pleased with its star.

They were intended to be its ears. I never considered that they could look like hands until someone pointed it out, and I must admit I quite like the idea haha. You can imagine it whichever way you like :)
Initially I too thought it was hands, but upon closer inspection realized it must be ears. Either way, it is adorable.
