This bothers me in so many games. Like, here they actually kind of went out of their way to try to fix it, with Link pulling the scabbard down. In so many games, it’s a matter of the character just phasing it through the scabbard, like there’s a magnet there instead. It just makes it look glitchy. I care less about photorealistic graphics than things routinely glitching all over the place…
Witcher 3 was the one that I always noticed it the most. Link at least usually has a ton of gear so it hides it. I did like how they made the open sheath on the show to at least try to make it more practical.
