Is this about bending gender roles or about cheering for military institutions who employ women? I’m so to say more comfortable with one option than the other.

PS: For context, the only 2 posts in this sub are propaganda pictures of women soldiers from Russia and some asian (not sure which country) military.

      So why from a Nation State army and not peoples militias like zapatistas compas or kurdish YPJ? Also worth noting: i personally wouldn’t call female soldiers gender bending as fighting for your homeland as a woman is an accepted trope within patriarchy and falls into nationalist narrative: Jeanne d’Arc in France (a famous historical figure claimed by the fascists) is an example of that and is widely celebrated yearly on May 1st by fascists of all stripes.
