    that is not something we can afford to ignore

    that’s what i’m referring to; the DNC has been ignoring it so much that they’ve given tepid-at-best support for texan democrats for decades.

    also: democrats don’t bother to understand why people don’t vote and still bother to do nothing about it once educated on why; but republicans do bother to understand do bother to do something about it.

    that’s they their victories are usually in the single digit range in texas; they take action to suppress the vote when they see that there’s a chance that they might lose and no one who has the sufficient clout to contest it does so.

      There are countless lawsuits lied to try to block their voter suppression in Texas. They often do block some of it. Without control of the Texas state legislature, it’s difficult to do more than action in the judicial system

      The DNC is investing more heavily this cycle in Texas

        i suspect extremely few, if any, people/groups within texas have the necessary clout; but something like the DNC does through its donors.

        The DNC is investing more heavily this cycle in Texas

        it’s been increasing over the years and still nowhere near enough.
