minus-square@hellojacklink2•2 years agoNorth Korea doesn’t want to be called as ‘NK/북한’ because they think they’re country in the center of the korean peninsula. And why would we call them Chosun? Most people would think of Chosun dynasty when someone say ‘chosun/조선’.

Choson is the official name of the DPRK.
