Honestly, I thought the guy was a douchebag since at least the late 90s, IIRC. I cannot remember exactly why I first started getting annoyed with him, but it’s not surprising to learn he turned out to be a total asshole.

I always wrote off his cranky boomer schtick as a schtick. Turns out it wasn’t one.
