I have a topic for which I could not find a matching community. I can see in the UI that it’s possible, and probably easy, to create a new community.

What happens next? Will I be up to my neck in mod work or other commitments/responsibilities? What aspects do I need to consider before doing this?

You’ll probably be fine for awhile. I’m the only active mod for /r/Infiniti which is around 24k users, and it’s never felt overwhelming. Granted, I’m a software engineer so setting up auto mod was easy for me.

Now moderating /r/gaming, that’d be a full time job if there weren’t so many of us modding it
