If Spiderman was a sensitive topic to vulnerable populations being used as a punchline to score political points, then I would be objecting to including Spiderman like that. But that’s not the case. Instead it’s trans suicide that’s being used insensitively, as a punchline to score political points, which is why I objected to it. Because I don’t consider the topic of trans suicide and appropriate subject matter to joke about, or to include references to in a joke “about” something else.
